This is one of the three models of video camera for civil use that the company Dekko produced, the other two were for 9.5 mm films and this was the only one for 8 mm film. Due to its solid metallic body it is a fairly heavy chamber for its size.

The company Dekko from the Second World War and until 1950 produced mainly video cameras for combat aircraft.
